I love lookin out the window of my trailer and seein this here squirrel. It's like half his body is on one side of the tree and the other part hangin out the other half. If you drink 4 or 5 beers it's even more cool.

I really liked the product on the picture, and despite all the negative reviews about poor packaging, decided to take a risk. Well.... the product arrived very fast, but I was not luckier that other people. The tail part arrived broken, the packaging was really poor. I guess I can still use the head part (half of the product). It meant to be a present for a special person, so it is really disappointing. I wish the seller cared more and packaged the product smarter, especially after so many incidents.

Returned original broken unit and received a credit to my account by Amazon in under a week total shipping and processing time. Reordered and replacement shipped promptly & arrived in good condition (but still with poor internal original manufacturer packing -- Good job UPS ).
Really nice addition to my yard and looks very realistic when I mounted on tree limb. Even the cats and dogs in neighborhood think it is a real squirrel.
This two piece unit is very easy to mount, just put screws in tree limb and play a bit with how much screw head to leave out to keep figurine firmly seated to what you are mounting it on. You have to find and provide your own screws of correct head size which could be drawback for some people if they don't have amateur handyman - fix-it guy supplies on hand. There is a good metal plate to mount with screws so not attaching directly to ceramic material which is a definite plus.
As the colour is realistic and therefore a bit dark, it will show up best if you mount in a somewhat sunny area. In a full shade area it is so realistic it blends in extremely well with tree limb / trunk.
First review:
(First unit ...) Arrived with tail of squirrel BROKEN OFF due to what appears to be poor packing of item by the manufacturer. Top half's of molded(?) styrofoam was NOT actually molded but looked like it had been hand shaped by someones fingers or a screwdriver. This allowed significant movement and with this large "dangling" piece it snapped. Also the molding of the figurine was very thin where the tail broke off which means a poor original design as this should have been much thicker since it is obviously the major stress point of the figurine. Cheap Chinese Construction & Design. Due to thinness of the figurine in area where it snapped off there is not really any hope of gluing in a secure manner to repair.
Otherwise it is really cute and I am going to request replacement rather than refund. Maybe a sucker move, but if I mount it in a secure place where little chance of anything hitting tail part, it will be great addition to my backyard.
Will return to this review if and when I receive a replacement in good condition.
Giving 2 stars at this time as it really is cute and could be mounted in a secure way if care is taken and item is NOT broken.

I am very disillusioned! the squirrel is cute, but I get broken! ... Unfortunately, bad packaging, not even the box it said a message of weakness, and security inside the box is bad, ... assumed that the product is new and very cute, and the truth, I wanted to arrive to put it in a tree, but it was not so, I came all broken! :(...

This came broken in many pieces, I will not buy anything again off of this company again. They didn't pack it securely, figure if you buy anything else off of this company, they won't spend money to pack secure. They packed it as cheap as they could and it showed.
