Looks Good..Not Bird FriendlyJul 09, 2009
By Niki Platform that birds land on has a rounded edge. Most of them unable to stay on feeder. They slid off. Had to discard base and set feeder on top of birdbath. Birds now land on edge of birdbath and can access feeder.Would not recommend

very pleasedFeb 11, 2011
By pixie I am extremely pleased with this bird feeder! It is everything I expected. I read the description before I bought it. As for the other comments I've read, all I can say is that some people are so blonde! People complaining about it being plastic: come on...did you really buy this without reading the description? Do you honestly think you could buy a concrete or metal bird feeder at that price? Those complaining about it being lightweight: a LITTLE common sense tells you to fill the pole with sand!!! (There is a base at the bottom of the pole that fills up first, keep pouring the sand until it reaches the top of the pole) That's all it takes to make this a sturdy standing bird feeder! Man, I can't believe the small stuff that people in this world complain about, without even using common sense before posting a review. Like I said, I'm extremely pleased with this product!!!

not too badDec 11, 2009

This is a very pretty feeder, and my cardinals love it. The only things I would say aren't favorable with this feeder are that it's difficult to fill and the plastic makes it limited in where it can be placed.
Because it's so lightweight, I cannot set it in the grass or on mulch. I have had a difficult time finding a good spot for it in my yard and finally resorted to setting it on my stone patio in the front.

Not That ImpressiveJan 15, 2009
By Francis Gibbons Not really that great of a product. It seems to have used a cheap, thin grade of plastic. As a result the whole unit seems flimsy and brittle. It is also somewhat top-heavy. You'll definitely need to weight or stake it down as the slightest breeze will tip it over.

Broke putting it togetherJun 03, 2010
By BJL411 This is a nice sized pretty cage set though it required 12 screws that are hard to put in.
I am not a strong person and I put it together in the order that the instructions said, but when i went to screw the birdcage top (that I had just finished screwing together) into the pole/stand, the dang pole broke off at the bottom, with part of the pole still stuck into the decorative piece at the bottom that connects to the stand. I tried gluing it but knew that wouldn't work.. so now I have a pretty bird house-top and the stand is useless.
good ole plastic crap made in china -
