As a student of Buddhism, I've been looking for a nice Buddha representation for quite some time. I couldn't find anything nice locally and I was a bit apprehensive to order something like this, based on a photograph. I couldn't have been happier with the piece. The red is much richer than the photo indicates and the fine detail work is exceptional. I highly recommend this product. It is well worth the money.

Gave this to my mother who is a practicing Buddhist for christmas. Had a hard time finding a Buddha that looked so much like the ones I saw at the Thai Waht (temple). My mom commented "it's perfect".
The quality of the paint job is amazing for how much I paid for it. Came packaged well enough to survive re-entry from orbit.

This is a beautiful statue of good size. It's well made, nicely colored and the inset "gem" stones are a nice touch. Very good piece of art for the price.

I ordered this and got one very cheaply made with all kinds of paint smears and mistakes on it. Their customer service was FANTASTIC and they graciously shippied me another one at NO CHARGE and did NOT make me return the first one. I asked them to check it carefully for flaws before sending the 2nd one and they agreed. I received the 2nd one and it too was FLAWED. Not as badly as the 1st one but it is just a poor quality. Color also apparently varies from statue to statue. From accross a room, it looks really beautiful...just do not get up close to it or you see a very cheap quality Buddha. Company is great, product is not.

This one came from "Furniture creations" -
contains some very pungent liquid that bubbles out.
One has to wonder about toxicity and safety of
this product.
The color of the robes is a dull brown, not a rich
crimson as indicated by the description and photograph.
Pondering whether it is worth the trouble and shipping
cost to return the piece.
--- Update --
They very graciously offered to replace without return.
Replacement has no volatile fluid inside, but paintwork
is patchy and poor.
-- Summary --
I'd say if you are ready to accept some of these
inconsistencies and possibly redo some paintwork
yourself, you'd be ok.
