This is a very cute bed. But I do offer a word of caution: This bed is recommended for a pet up to 10 pounds! It will not support a pet that is heavier than that! I have one that I purchased for my cat, from my own catalog. She loves it! My cat has used it for over a year now, and it is still in perfect condition. But, I would not get one for a dog, unless it weighed 10 pounds or less. The frame work needs to be assembled.

I have had the bed for probably 2 years now. It was purchased for a 12 lb dog but my 40 lb poodle sleeps on it, my cat and now even my VERY large Irish Wolfhound puppy. She doesn't understand that she is way too big for it. It has held up incredibly well. Just the other day the mesh wire underneath gave way when the Wolfhound stepped on it, but she now weighs 75 lbs!! So we cut a piece of plywood and it fits into the frame, good as new. The cushions have held up very well too! Great item.

I would highly recommend this bed to anyone with small pets. My dog and cat both enjoy snoozing on it. It is functional, as well as decorative, and adds beauty to our home.

Date of Purchase: Last week of 9-2011, and received it on 10-4-2011
1. ARRIVED ON TIME as indicated, and in NEW/PERFECT condition.
2. Assembly was simple and took me no more than 10 minutes.
3. Whala!! perfect size bed for my dog (Adult Shitzu).
4. Perfect bed - not too low or too high off of floor level, and a mental visual for size of bed - like a nice size door/bathroom mat.
* FYI, if the bed will be on hardwood floors, just put little cushion adhesive (like for a dining room chair or any furniture on hardwood floors), just put it on the bottom of bed legs so it wont scratch as pet jumps out of the bed, like my dog, and make the bed slide just a little.....cushion adhesive-sold at walmart, k-mart, target, and/or $1 store or just set the bed on a door mat.

The bed is cute to look at but the quality is less than what I expected. You have to put it together and not the pieces fit very well, I had to make some adjustments. Seller was willing to take back but I opted to keep it.
