Great addition to my husband's nightstandFeb 09, 2011
By Sara Harpster Item was well packaged, and of great quality. I love candles, and I thought this would be a great way to add a candle to my husband's nightstand without being too feminine. But, the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the antlers are MUCH darker than the picture. I still love it, but just FYI for those considering the purchase. Even knowing the difference in color, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again. Thank you!

Just plain awesome getting one for a gift!Oct 27, 2011

Received one for a gift and bought one so I would have a set to match for each side of the coffee table, will be purchasing another pair for a Holiday present. These are just so awesome! Believe it or not, these are really easy to clean: Carefully wash in lukewarm water with a little soap and a used toothbrush. Just dip it into the dishpan or a pot, then on a towel to clean it, the glass itself can be used with or without a candle. I strongly recommend that one use a candle base due to candle wax! NOTE: If you ever get candle wax on the base, first try scraping as much as you can with a blunt end of the spoon FIRST, then if some stubborn residue remains - use 3 in 1 oil or Olive Oil, just a little drop over it and let it sit, remove excess in the non-waxed areas, and leave it for at least 3 to 4 hours and it will scrap off easily.
In addition - these antlers makes an AWESOME Holiday Event, whether for Hanukkah to Christmas, Blue and White to Green, Red and whatever colored candles - here's a very handy tip from me to you, on the base, cover the bottom with gold foil, a clever and sneaky way of letting the wax flow down without damaging the beautiful antlers or if you do not light them up, it really stands out and quite a conversation piece! Trust me on this and you would be glad you got them, but of course - it will be "our" little secret! :-)
