I bought this pet bed for my portrait photography business. It really is a darling piece. Assembly isn't hard, though it is nice to have an extra pair of hands close by.
If one were to use this for a pet bed I would suggest a pet well under 15 lbs.
Shipping from this seller was very fast- I was most happy with the service!

Basically, the advertisement is royally misleading. It's not as big as its measurements; by that I mean due to the design of the ironwork, it serves dogs only the size of small cats, not larger. This is a cat bed that's been re-marketed for dogs. And the bottom pad is so stiff you'll replace it. No dog or cat would actually choose to sleep on it. Plus, it was missing a few nuts and bolts, necessitating a trip to the hardware store. But is looks good. If you have a miniature dog and are happy to find a replacement pillow/bed to fit (which wasn't hard to find, but added expense and time cost) it's a great-looking bed for your miniature royalty.

I thought that this bed looked look like it did in the ad, like the idea that the dogs cannot chew it and ruin the cuteness! The print cushion part of the bed is soft, I wrap it in other material for the look that I want and will make covers for it one of these days or will upholster a piece of wood and cushion for the look that I want. Plan on making 'bed curtains' for it to enhance the looks. My husband put it together fast! Would buy again and suggest if you like a cute, metal bed where you will have to do something with the cushion that comes with it (for the price, this can be easily customize to what you want it to be) then this may be a bed to consider! It can be dressed really cutely and I have seen some for sale that have been customized for up to $200.00 range so at this price and to do the custom work yourself or by a friend is well worth it! My dogs like it too!

We thought getting this item would be a piece of cake to put together. When the package was opened and parts layed out, we were WRONG on the easy part. The top crossing bars that hold the crown, was the same part. We got two left arms instead of a right and left. So with no way to send the package back or order another cross arm part (because that is not an option the manufacturer offers) we took two pairs of vice grips and twisted the arm to fit. So be CAREFUL when ordering this item as the parts mights be messed up!!!!!!!!!

My dog loves this bed!
Slightly difficult to put together, most things that are metal, so I have found, usually are.
I instantly threw away the cheetah bed board that it came with and I just bought a rectangular, plush bed instead.
