 Poor quality--not for the discerning dragon loverAug 28, 2010

This dragon box is listed several times on Amazon at widely varying prices. I am mystified by all the rave reviews, because the box I received is of pretty disappointing quality. The photo shows the box as a pewter-type color and with a solid paint job on the dragon's armor. My box is a very unevenly painted, quite ugly blackish color and the paint job on the dragon's armor is awful. It's totally sloppy and the eyepiece on the left isn't even painted at all! The box is a little uneven around the sides, and the design on the inside looks badly done and tacky. I wasn't exactly expecting a work of art; it's just a resin collectible. But as far as I'm concerned, it's definitely an overrated collectible. I bought it to store things like Q-tips on my nightstand; so I guess it will work okay for that. It is the right size to put such items in. I'm going to touch up the paint job myself, or it will annoy me every time I look at it. Many reviewers have claimed that anyone who loves dragons will love this-- I don't think so. There are many higher quality dragon items out there. If you do choose to buy this, make sure you don't pay too much for it; I'm glad I didn't.

I was happy with the dragon keepsake box,it was as described.It was shipped promtly and packed very well to prevent it from being broken.

I bought it, and I do love it. It looks like I just bought something expensive. It does look good. I do not know many jewelry cases that look like this and sell at this price. So it really is worth my time and money.

This is a nice-looking box and my son was really excited to get it. Except it was broken when we opened it. Furniture Creations was great and immediately mailed a new one. You'll never guess what happens next. Yup - - it broke when I mailed it to him. We're going with a sturdier alternative next.

Twinzies & Twins seller never send me the Medieval Dragon Box, and never answer my e-mails. It has a terrible service, I don't recommend it.
