I LOVE these lamps! I agree with the other reviewers, they look far more expensive than they are. I have mixed feelings about the shades....first I wished they were denser but now I think I like the light sparkling through them. I put AB finished bulbs in and it's really pretty. I also got matching candle holders which I put next to the lamps and put glass paperweights on them, it looks awesome.
I originally bought them for my sun room, but since my house isn't quite done with repairs from Katrina yet, the sun room is currently the work room, so the lamps are in the den. I think I will just buy more for the sun room. They're just that great. ;)

Absolutley delightful little bedroom lamp for the nightstand. The 40 watt max doesn't interfere w/television viewing. Looks more expensive than it's price.

I like this lamp very much and it looks far more expensive than it is. I'll admit, I wish the shade were a bit more dense, because the lightbulb shows through. But I am really glad I bought this; it looks hip in my house. And I checked around: the price here is terrific. (I confess, I am so mechanically UNinclined that I was unable to put it together, but I called the maker and they instructed me over the phone in a very cheerful manner and did not point out how dumb I am).

The Palm Tree Rattan Lamps arrived in perfect condition. They look great on the bedside tables in our bedroom. We will continue to use Amazon.com for purchases.

We're going for a beachy blue and green theme in our house and this lamp did a lot to add to the ambiance of a bright and cheery atmosphere. As per the other reviews, I will agree the lamp looks more expensive than it actually is. It is solidly constructed and easy to put together. Having these in our room makes me feel like I'm on vacation at a villa by the beach.
