I purchased this from the Knick Knack Shelf which sold for the least amount of any others I saw. They also charged just for the shipping amount not a flat fee rate which was another reason I bought from them and it was delivered in a few days after purchase. I was able (54 year old woman) to put this cabinet together in less then an hour then about another 30 minutes to put the shelves in and doors on. This was easy to assemble and the direction were simple to follow. I have put furniture together before so bear that in mind. Once together it seems strudy enough however unless I missed something the top attaches to the bottom only with wooden dowels. This will make the piece difficult to move. If you are putting in one place to stay like I am, there should be no problem. The hinges need a little work to get the doors to close easily and sit evenly with each other when they're shut. For the money, how simple it was to assemble, I am satisfied with this cabinet. It gives a nice appears especially with the top glass doors.

Easy enough to assemble.. Very poorly engineered. The holes that you glue dowels into are over sized and sloppy. The top arced section has damaged surface: prior to painting. Upper doors can't line up, they are slightly different sizes and there is NO provision for adjustment or alignment. The hinges do not have counter-sink holes but, the screws provided are flat head so they don't screw down flush (should have round or pan head screws for hinges). The threaded holes in the knobs are also over sized, you can not tighten properly because the screws slip but don't strip.
This item is not worth the $92.95 cost (a "$157.00 savings"). You can find better Chinese furnishings at Kmart and probably save a couple of bucks! -- Larry
