I was slightly nervous to purchase such in inexpensive lanterns, but they greatly succeeded my expectations. They look wonderful! I am using them to decorate a tall fireplace with candles inside of them. I hung 4 of them from the ceiling so they are at alternating heights above the mantle. They are not heavy or probably very durable but for something that looks really nice and won't be messed with too often, they are perfect.

This lantern is really a bargain for around $10. I have two of them near my fireplace. They are not heavy, but all metal and very nicely detailed. I put different colored candles in them for different holidays and events. Even when unlit they look very handsome, and I have received many nice compliments on them. They are well worth the money to be sure. The biggest reason I recommend you buy them here on Amazon is because they are hard to find in stores. Usually you only see something like this in one of the fancy country stores for like $25 a piece. Even if you do manage to find them a more conventional store, I can't imagine you would get them any cheaper than right here. If you have a place for such a hanging lantern as this and like these, I would recommend buying them here. They are really a nice looking piece that provides a nice cozy atmosphere when lit....Enjoy

This lantern arrived timely and was exactly as expected. Perfect hanging in my gazebo. Very reasonably priced. Thinking of buying some more. Would highly recommend.

I had been shopping for lanterns to hang on patio for months. Nothing really jumped out. I figured for the money there was nothing to lose buying these to try. They look surprisingly great! One caveat, one lantern was a little bent so that there was a gap when you closed the door. I was initially upset but was able to pry it into place. Which for such a deal I didn't mind. I put battery powered candles in them and guests like them. Success!

I was looking forward to this lantern and was pleased by the price. I ordered one and received it well packaged in bubble wrap and 2 boxes. Yet, when I unwrapped it, it was broken. The glass pane in one window was broken. Hoping it was a one time deal, I returned it and ordered another one. To my dismay, the second one, while well wrapped, was broken in the box, also. Another pane broken. I cannot believe that the packaging caused the breakage, as it was well packaged and secure. It must be cheaply made or defective. Needless to say, I'll return it and this time, I've learned my lesson. Save your time and money.
