4See My Photos Above for Close Up PicturesJul 21, 2008

We were familiar with the evenflo exersaucer product before we purchased this one. We had an older model for our other children. We decided to upgrade to a new model when my parents wanted one to keep at their house for babysitting.

We narrowed our choice down between this one and the 3 in1 pond design. These two appealed to us because of the electronic activities on both seemed to be fun activities. We ended up going with this one not only because it was a little less expensive but because we liked the ABC theme.

These exersaucers come in a box that measures approx 30x30x10 inches. You must assemble everything. The detailed instructions that come with it make it pretty easy. It took two of us approximately 20 minutes to assemble. You start with the base and legs and work your way up. There are about 30 different parts to the complete kit.

The one small complaint I have about the exersaucer is the fact that the four electronic items each require 3AAA batteries to operate. That's a total of 12 for the complete exersaucer. Not only that but you will need a small philips screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the battery compartment doors on. I would have preferred that each one need two AA batteries. It's a lot of batteries to change out. Even better would be a design that had one large battery compartment on the exersaucer for perhaps 4 D cells and that routed that power to each station and powered the electronics from one power source. This would also be more friendly on the environment. You could use rechargeable batteries more easily then!

Other than the massive battery needs (the electronics do run for a while before needing a battery change), I would say that we are very happy with the exersaucer. The seat spins 360 degrees or locks into position. The legs are adjustable in height and the unit even folds up for more compact storage. And did I mention our little one likes it two.

5A heavenly light shines upon it!May 23, 2008

We LOVE this excersaucer!

It fabulously folds down for travel or moving it from room to room with a handle and everything.

We put our daughter in it at 4 months of age (with blankets around her) and it was an immediate success. She has so much fun in it! She's 6 months old now and still loves every minute. We also purchased a few of the "Switch-a-roos" for it. The tall fish teething switcharoo and the crinkly bee switcharoo are big hits with our baby girl and the switcharoos are very reasonably priced.

She loves all the sounds and lights. They aren't too annoying. (As for someone's comment on the creepy laughter, I kinda agree - it is slightly creepy, but my daughter actually smiles and laughs with the sound!)

Oddly enough, one of my daughter's favorite things to play with on it are the star-domes that cover the springs!!!

Love the gender neutral, yet bright and fun colors and designs.

Easy to clean. Evenflo switcharoos are great to change the toys up a little bit, even though she loves the toys it comes with!

This is an item we could not live without!! Great for some hands free time for parents!! Our girl has a blast in hers!

****** UPDATE! *******
At 10 months old, this is STILL a hit with our daughter! Couldn't be more pleased with all the use we have gotten out of this! I'm wondering if there are replacement parts, like another cloth seat, just so I can have a spare for when I wash the original!

2Paint chips within a month -- corrected by EvenfloJan 09, 2009
By Vicky Reiner
Update: The day I wrote the review, I called Evenflo. They sent out new parts. I scratched the stars purposefully with my fingernails, and they don't flake off this time. They asked for the old parts so their engineers could take a look at them and figure out what happened, and FedEx showed up to pick them up.

So.......... good customer service. Thank God! As I didn't want to take this away from my daughter. She's still loving it!

First review:

My daughter absolutely loves this thing. She hated swings. She tolerated the papasan. But she loves this thing. And today I notice that the painted stars are flaking off of the spring covers that hold the thing together, so they cannot be removed. I'm going to call Evenflo, but it sounds like I'm not the only one with the problem. And unless they can address it appropriately, it has to go back. We try to take a very health conscious approach to raising our child, and paint flecks are not part of the picture. How do I take this away from her now? That's the sad thing.

5Babies First Choice from 5 - 9 months and still lovin' it!Sep 11, 2008
By Jennie L. Thornton "Wine Goddess"
I took my 5 month old daughter to a toy store to "test drive" various Activity Centers. There were pink cars and three-in-ones and walkers. She LOVED this one. In the store she just sat there for almost 15 minutes and when I finally took her out she fussed to go back! It has been four months of daily use. My house has never been so clean and my family is well fed for the first time since her birth. Her legs are stronger and standing on her own. She has figured out all the bells and whistles and knows how to get all the songs to play. She seems so proud of her self. We call it her "office" and she is happily "working" right now while I peacefully right this review. It is so great my parents got one for their house too! It folds easily and assembly is a snap. She has banged and torn at it and no problems at all!

1Do not buy this productFeb 08, 2009
By gundorific!
My husband and I bought this product for our son last month. Green paint chips from the stars on the clear bubble posts came off. The were all over his hands and it was hard to get off. Thankfully none of the chips went into his mouth. We called Evenflo and emailed them regarding this problem. They never got back to us. We were able to return this product with no problem. Do not buy this product unless you are okay with paint chips going into your baby's mouth and all over his hands.
