The first thing I noticed when unpacking this is how lightweight (and thin) the plastic is. If it gets knocked over I'm sure it's "a goner". Started it up and although quiet, the water does not flow down the steps properly. Instead of flowing down the center as shown, it tends to run at the edges. There is a lip at the front of the bottom step that prevents the water from running to the water return holes at the front of the fountain. This causes the water to try to seep back into the bottom around the edges of the fountain, which in turn causes bubbling and splashing on the sides of the bowl. All in all this was a very disappointing purchase.
