Got this for my husband, who just loves the way it looks----and the detail is really nice.
However, the arm that holds the blade is very delicate, and it broke almost immediately. Since using this as a letter-opener requires taking the blade in and out frequently, this is definitely a weakness in the design. He's had to repair it several times.

this product by itself is beautiful. however, it is useless as I received it broken in three pieces. I requested a replacement and the second shipment arrived broken in several pieces. The product is very poorly packaged with insufficient cushioning to protect it. The foam packaging itself was torn in pieces. Beautiful product but unreliable. What a shame!

The letter opener is awesome looking. I didn't really get a good impression of how big it actually is in the picture, but it looks great sitting on my desk! The sword in the dragon's paw is the actual letter opener, and it slides out of his grasp easily. The edge is a bit dull for actually opening mail, but it looks great anyway. The dragon's detail is fantastic. I love it, and I'm glad I bought it.
