I love my lamp! It's just like the ones I purchased for twice the price at World Market. The glass isn't exactly clear, it's more white or frosted, and the brass looks nice and "aged". The bottom is a little sharp, and snagged at the tablecloth I had down, but if you want, you can sort of curl the edges down with some pliers so they're more rounded at the bottom, helped out a lot. The door is a little weird, it's double-doored and the glass is a little loose, but at the price, I wasn't very surprised that it wasn't a high-end product. Overall, I'm happy with it.

The metal is stamped, light-weight alloy. When you first open the lantern door, be careful, some of the glass panels may be loose. This can be easily fixed by gently pressing down the metal tabs that hold the glass in place by hand (using pliers is overkill and will probably crack the glass). The decorative points at the bottom are sharp, and may scratch or snag on things if you plan to let the lantern sit instead of hanging it up. Still cute, and looks good with an LED votive inside it.

This lantern is much more like its middle eastern counterparts despite being made in China.....more charming look due to the cooper. Good value for money

After ordering this item, I read reviews. I thought I may have made a bad choice in ordering this. No! This little lantern is adorable. I collect lanterns and this one is unusual because of its "copper" look. No, it is not copper (note the price), but is fabulous. Enjoy!

Very poorly made. NOT copper, a real messy paint job. Would send it back, but would cost just as much to send it back as its price. Ugh, I collect all kind of copper items and will have to hide this one somewhere. Maybe I can e-bay it. DON'T BUY if you're expecting pretty REAL copper decor. Poor, even on made in China quality.
