A dear friend recently switched jobs and moved to New York. I wanted something special for her office, something attractive, yet useful that she would be happy to display on her desk. So I hopped online and after browsing around Amazon, I discovered Renaissance Motif Ornate Cherub Angel Quartz Desk Clock and that was it!
Although my friend is a sweet, caring angel who has been there for me during good times and bad, she also has a playful, "cherubic" nature that reminds me of these cute little cherubs. Amazon also had a marble cherub clock and I do prefer marble over polyresin, but the other was too "white" and this in off-white seemed more pleasant to my eye. Another plus is that it has a Quartz movement and I also like the medium size (almost 8" wide by 7" high).
I just knew my friend would love it...and I was right! She emailed me immediately; the cherubs are now at home on her new desk and she's received compliments from her co-workers. That's good enough for me...
Anything that puts a smile on her face is highly recommended by me.

I bought this clock for my mother inlaw. She
is eighty two years young and impossible
to buy for.She loved this clock its for her
mantle.So far its working a little fast.

This was a Christmas present for my son.....he picked it out (along with others) and placed it on his wish list. He's 11 and has his own clock collection. Imagine my disappointment and HIS on Christmas morning when he opened it and the "second" hand was hanging at the bottom of the dial screen, the clock itself has to be popped out to adjust the time, the face of the clock is not made of glass but of very poor foggy plastic....you can barely see the time....but you see the glue that holds the plastic onto the clock. The material used to made the angels is very cheap and fragile. May i add the price changed 3 times on this item. Before Christmas it was a reasonable price considering its made in china, cheap look.... then when i went to buy it days later it doubled in price and now as i look again it almost doubled again.

The clock was packaged extremely well, but still arrived with broken pieces. I bought this as a gift. Fortunately I had it sent to me and not directly to the recipient, but now I'm in a crunch to find an alternate gift in time for Christmas.
