 Great idea gone bad and worse.... dangerousJan 08, 2011

This is such a great idea but it is terribly cheap!!!!! The picture CANNOT stay secure so then it it rests against the NIGHT LIGHT bulb and risks fire.....this was a Christmas gift and did not have time to send it back and get a new gift....so I had to RIG these to make themm work and then give a 5 min sermon on how they will have to watch the FIRE risk....not good

After looking unsuccessfully for an airplane night light, I ordered a bunch of these to give as Christmas presents to kids, figuring they could insert their own photo or drawing of whatever they wanted. Unfortunately, out of 8, 4 were completely unusable due to the plastic frame being warped to where it won't hold a picture, causing the picture to fall back against the bulb (YIKES!)
The company this was purchased through has been wonderful in sending free replacements for the defective items, so I give them 5+ stars (Furniture Creations). Unfortunately, the product they are selling needs a better QC process, or a better design all together.
The concept of a photo night light is ingenious. And for those creative people out there, here is your opportunity to create a better product!

I love these night lights. It was easy to add my own photo. I also like the fact that the night light has an on/off switch so I don't have to unplug it during the day, I can just switch it off.
