I bought this mainly for the large bowl -- I was hoping for a decorative wooden bowl and thought this would be it.
From a distance, it looks nice and looks just like the picture. However, up close, it looks like a cheap composite material and doesn't have the solid feeling of wood. It has a "made in China" sticker which further confirms my suspicions. However, for the price, I guess that is to be expected.
If you are looking for a handcrafted wooden decorative bowl, this isn't it. However, if you don't mind something made out of fake materials, then it is a good buy.

This item was purchased to be the centerpiece on a modest black metal and class dining room table. It goes perfectly, and is wooden, so it's light, and pretty much indestructible, if you have children or pets.

This is such a nice peice in my living room. I love it! I also bought the artisan deco vase and they both look so nice on my coffee table. I will be purchasing the candle tray and holder next.

I got this deco bowl and balls as a gift for a friend. She loves it! The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because they were extremely light weight and it worried me that the bowl and/or deco balls would be easy to scuff up.
