This was a gift for a 50th birthday, the person always stated they liked the scent of someones home that is often burning scented oils. The woman I purchased this for really enjoys the church, so this seemed appropriate. When the product arrived, it was far better quality than I had imagined it would be, I could easily see it selling at the mall in Yankee Candle for the typical $39.95 price, not the $7 I paid. Shipping cost more than the product itself so I paid more like $16 for this, a true bargain. The bottom appears to be stone, just real classy for an oil burner, superb quality.

This is a lovely and tranquil warmer. I was concerned that a burning candle might stain or tarnish the glass, but it doesn't at all. Very nice warmer for a good price!

I wanted a diffuser for my room to help keep my head straight haha using aromatherapy. I was worried about the flame turning the glass holder/plate dark from the soot, but that hasn't happened yet...well I was able to wipe off the soot. Just make sure the glass plate doesn't get empty or it has a higher chance of that happening. Keep the plate full of liquid. Sometimes the plate does need to be washed, because hair, dust, etc... can get on it, but that's easy. Very sturdy base. I like the concept of the figurines in kind of a "mountain pose" as if they're telling us to do the same thing haha. We all need a breather, this most certainly would help us out.

"Aquarius Rising"
This is a lovely piece, but it's imperative you follow the instructions not to light the candle until you put liquid in the bowl. I bought one for myself and my daughter. My daughter's bowl cracked as soon as she poured water into the bowl.
